ENROLL THEM IN A HIGH-QUALITY PRESCHOOL!

Great Start Readiness & Head Start Programs are FREE to those who qualify!

Great Start Readiness and Head Start preschools have one application process for all of their locations in the county.

Preschool placement is based on a child's age, family income, child's needs, and availability of programming. To find out if your child qualifies call 989-269-6533 or 989-269-3485, or complete the online application (see link on this page). You will also need to submit your child's proof of age, immunization record, proof of residence (drivers license), and proof of income (tax return) with the application.

If your child is eligible for Head Start, there is additional enrollment paperwork you will need to complete with a Head Start staff person.
