HOW TO GET INVOLVED
ADVOCACY
Huron County's children need your voice to speak for them. Part of continuing the work that needs to be done to change the lives of children begins at the state level with our legislators. Local elected officials need to hear from us, the voters, on what we think is important. Call, write, email, or go and visit your elected officials and let them know that you feel it's important to continue funding early childhood programs.

5th ANNUAL STAR POWER RALLY
Join us for the 5th Annual Star Power Rally on Thursday, May 19, 2011. The Parent Coalition and Great Start Collaborative work hard to fill the bus that drives us to Lansing for the day. Moms, dads and their children have a great time at the Capitol during Star Power. We get to meet our local legislators, there are games and activities for the children, motivational speakers who are passionate about children who make presentations... all in all it's a fun day for everyone.
